Integrating Service Catalog

You can integrate Service Catalog with other applications, such as Service Portal and Employee Center.

Integrate Service Catalog

  • Submit requests for service and product offerings using catalog items from the Employee Center.
  • Configure an improved version of catalog. Customize Service Portal where your customers can request catalog items such as service and product offerings.
  • Use a mobile and track request and approval flows of Service Catalog.
  • Configure a catalog item or record producer to create a universal request when a request is submitted.
  • Design a topic conversation in Virtual Agent by including reusable topic blocks to perform request submission tasks.

  • Service Catalog in Employee Center portal
Employees can submit requests for service and product offerings using catalog items from the Employee Center portal.

  • Service Catalog in Service Portal
Use Service Portal to configure an improved version of Catalog. You can customize Service Portal where your customers can request catalog items such as service and product offerings. You can use the Service Catalog widgets to build a catalog for your portal.
  • Service Catalog in mobile
You can use a mobile and track request and approval flows of Service Catalog.
  • Service Catalog configuration for Universal Request
You can configure a catalog item or record producer to create a universal request when a request is submitted. The associated requested item (for catalog item) or task-based record (for record producer) becomes the primary ticket for that universal request.
  • Standard ticket page for a requested item
To display the related information, you can configure the standard ticket page for requested items on the various portals. This configuration verifies a consistent experience when viewing submitted requests in portals.
