Associate a knowledge article with a taxonomy category
Associate a knowledge article with a taxonomy topics to create a uniform classification structure across different kinds of content.
Before you begin
You must have contribute access to the knowledge base that contains the knowledge article.

About this task
The taxonomy feature enables you to link an article to one or more topics from multiple taxonomies. It helps you maintain a unified content categorization across content types such as catalog items, knowledge articles, and community posts. Note: You can associate only articles in the Draft, Review, or Published state.
Procedure
Navigate to All > Knowledge > Articles.
On the article page, click the article you want to associate to a taxonomy topic.
In the Assigned Topics related list, click Add.
Note: As an admin, you may need to configure the form to include the Connected Content → Knowledge in the related list. Click the form context menu icon
context menu icon and navigate to **Configure** > **Related Lists**. Using slushbucket, add the Connected Content → Knowledge.
Select a Taxonomy category from the list in the topic picker dialog box.
Select a topic from a topic picker list and click OK.
Result
The selected article is associated with a taxonomy category for better content browsing.
