Verify manual integration run

Verify that the integration run is successful. View the number of individual detections and the vulnerable items (VIs) created or updated due to the integration run.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_vul.vulnerability_admin

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Vulnerability Response > Manual Vulnerable Item Ingestion > Integrations.

  2. Click the name of the integration based on the file type uploaded.

  3. Click the Vulnerability Integration Runs tab.

  4. Click the integration run number.

  5. Click the Items tab.

  6. Review the information in the Items tab.

    Tab/ FieldDescription
    Items tabDisplays the total number of VIs that are imported. You can see the total detections imported by adding the numbers listed on the Detections tab.
    New itemsDisplays the number of vulnerable items that are created from this integration run.
    Imported itemsDisplays the sum of the all the fields in this section.
    Duplicate itemsDisplays duplicate items. This field is not populated anymore.
    Updated itemsDisplays the number of times vulnerable items are updated during this integration run. This value is not the number of unique vulnerable items that are updated. If for example, a vulnerable item is updated two times during the integration run, it is counted two times and displayed as 2 updated items.
    Unchanged itemsDisplays vulnerable items found during the integration run that exist in the database but were not updated, because none of the relevant field values had changed.

What to do next

After you verify that the integration run is successful, navigate to All > Vulnerability Response > Manual Vulnerable Item Ingestion > Upload File History. Verify if there are any failed records from the Notes.
