Threat Event

An event or situation that has the potential for causing undesirable consequences or impact.

A hacker attacking a website is a threat event. If the hackers manage to damage any website or steal information, that would be defined as a threat event.

    Define a threat event when an event that results in unauthorized access to and acquisition of nonpublic information or the disruption or misuse of any information system.
