Using Access Analyzer

Analyze identities and their access on the ServiceNow AI Platform instance.

Before you begin

Role required: access_analyzer_admin

Note that access_analyzer_admin is a granular role. For more information about granular roles, see Platform security granular admin roles.

A user needs additional roles (such as admin) to be able to modify ACL records, user records, or other sources.

The following procedure describes the steps for accessing Access Analyzer and using its various features.

Note: Access Analyzer is a ServiceNow AI Platform Store product.

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Access Analyzer > Analyze Permissions.

   Access Analyzer has the following capabilities:

   • Evaluate Access
   • Compare user records
   • Compare access controls
   • Select the respective tab to use Access Analyzer based on your requirement.
