Refine the presentation of your data

Improve your Task Mining project's analysis before sharing the project to identify gaps in categorization.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_tm_core.analyst, sn_tm_core.power_user, sn_tm_core.admin

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Workspaces > Task Mining Workspace.

  2. Select the name of the project you want to analyze.

  3. Select one of the analysis tabs that has charts; either Task activity or Overall activity.

  1. Identify uncategorized activities.

    1. Use the dates, categories, applications, users, and tasks drop-down selectors to evaluate different views of your charts.

    2. Select Apply.

    3. Make note of any large portion of activities that don’t use user-friendly categorization that might benefit from being categorized.

  1. If you find any areas to modify, contact your Task Mining power user to refine categorization based on the data gaps in the charts you identified.
