Using DEX or SAM for application monitoring

Monitor your application usage and performance with Software Asset Management (SAM) or Digital End-User Experience (DEX), depending on your organization's needs. SAM and DEX both use the Agent Client Collector (ACC).

DEX supports software metering through its integration with ACC and SAM. The following table helps you choose the appropriate application monitoring option for your organization.
