Create a policy with the condition builder

Use the condition builder to create a Cloud Configuration Governance policy without writing any code at all. Use it to specify the criteria for identifying and reporting the non-compliant cloud resource configurations.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_itom_ccg.governor

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Cloud Configuration Governance > Policies.

  2. Select New.

  3. On the Policy form, fill in the fields.

For form field description, see Cloud Configuration Governance Policy form.

Refer to one of the base system condition builder-based policies as an example for creating the custom policy.

  4. Select Submit.

What to do next

Test the policy to make sure that it is working properly. For more information, see Test the policy.
