Use the CreateFile component
Zip an existing folder or create a zip file by using the CreateFile component in RPA Desktop Design Studio.

About this task
You can configure the properties for the CreateFile component. For more information about these properties, see Properties of the Zip components.
Procedure
In the Toolbox pane, navigate to Utilities > Zip.
Drag the CreateFile component to the Design surface.
To configure the input fields, see Configure port properties.
Connect the data and control ports of the CreateFile component to the corresponding ports of the other components as described in the following table.
