Start a workflow execution from a selected component in RPA Desktop Design Studio

Start a workflow execution from a component instead of at the beginning of the workflow by using the Run From Here option in RPA Desktop Design Studio. This functionality allows you to rapidly develop and test the automation workflows.

Before you begin

Configure a component. For more information, see Use a component in RPA Desktop Design Studio.

Role required: none

Procedure

  1. In the RPA Desktop Design Studio, on the Design surface, right-click the title bar of the component from where you want to start the execution.

  2. Select Run From Here.
