Configure the Terminal connector
Create automations on the IBM Personal Communications (PCOMM) and the Rocket BlueZone emulators by using the Terminal connector that RPA Desktop Design Studio provides. By capturing these emulator screens and their elements, you can automate actions on them.
Ensure you have installed the Terminal (Mainframe) plugin on the RPA Desktop Design Studio. To install, see Manage plugins in RPA Desktop Design Studio.
Ensure that you have added the Terminal connector object under the Global Objects in the Project Explorer pane.
Ensure that you have started an emulator session and connected it to a server.

Use the screen or element match rules to match a screen or element from among multiple screens and elements with its corresponding rules. Match rules enables the connector to identify the appropriate screen or element and perform tasks.
