Modify a published template using quick edit
Use Quick edit to make limited changes to a published template which has an assessment associated with it without creating a version. Quick edit is intended for small corrections, such as fixing typos or updating text, while preserving the published state of the template.
Before you begin
- To be able to use quick edit features, make sure that quick edit is enabled for the template’s category. For more information, refer to Create an assessment template category.
- Role required: sn_smart_asmt.template_manager or sn_smart_asmt.assessment_admin

Procedure
Navigate to Workspaces > Assessment Workspace to access the Assessment Workspace landing page.
Select a published template on which you want to make minor updates.
Based on what you want to update, use quick edit as follows:

Update the fields as required and select Save and publish.
To view the edit history, select Additional options icon

All Quick edit changes are captured in the edit history and remain available even after Quick edit is disabled.
