Create the contact import rules

Create a contact import rule to apply on the User table. You can then filter out the users as the contacts for emergency notifications.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_bcm.admin

About this task

The default table on which the contact import rule is applied is the User table [sys_user]. The sys_id of the user table and the unique contact ID of the Contacts table are mapped.

Procedure

1. Navigate to Business Continuity > Everbridge Contact Configuration > Contact Import Rules.

2. Select New.

3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   For more information, see Contact Import Rules form.

4. Select Submit.

5. Contact Import Rules form
   Use the Contact Import Rules form to create a contact import rule that you can apply on the User table.
