Explore Opportunity Marketplace (OPM)

Manage opportunities for long-term or short-term projects that are available at your company. Employees can find and track opportunities while managers can post opportunities for projects, gigs, volunteer opportunities, and internal jobs.

User criteria added to opportunities by owners control the visibility of the opportunity to potential applicants.

  • Internal jobs
    Opportunity Marketplace enable you to create, publish, and maintain internal job posting. You can explore open roles (positions) within your company.
  • Opportunity Marketplace best fit recommendations
    Based on your current roles, aspirations, and skills Opportunity Marketplace (OPM) recommends opportunities for you.
  • Gig opportunities
    Gigs have a single role with one or more vacancies. Gigs and other opportunity types are configured by ServiceNow admins from the Opportunity Type Configuration form.
  • Project opportunity
    Projects facilitate creating a team consisting of multiple roles filled by multiple people. Projects can be broad in scope and be long-term or short-term in duration. Projects and other opportunity types are configured by ServiceNow admins from the Opportunity Type Configuration form.
  • Volunteer opportunities
    Opportunities to volunteer can include multiple roles and skills for multiple people volunteering for activities related to the opportunity. Scope and duration can be long-term or short-term. Volunteer opportunities and other opportunity types are configured by ServiceNow admins from the Opportunity Type Configuration form.
  • Opportunities you own in Opportunity Marketplace
    From the Opportunities you own page in Opportunity Marketplace you can create, manage, and monitor opportunities. User criteria enables access to creating and updating opportunities.
  • Opportunity publishing approval
    The Opportunity Marketplace's publishing approval framework streamlines the approval process, allowing Opportunity Owners to submit drafts for approval and receive notifications upon approval or rejection.
