Manage job postings in Opportunity Marketplace

Job postings must be created and managed directly in the Job Posting [sn_ta_hiring_core_job_posting] table.

Before you begin

Role required:

  • sn_ta_hiring_core.admin
  • sn_ta_hiring_core.recruiter
  • admin

About this task

The Job Posting [sn_ta_hiring_core_job_posting] is contained in the Hiring Core application. The Job Posting table stores and tracks hiring information that you create or received from third party talent acquisition platforms for your hiring requirements.

You must create job postings from the Job Posting [sn_ta_hiring_core_job_posting] table. You must have one of the roles listed in Role required.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All.

  2. In the Filter field, enter sn_ta_hiring_core_job_posting.list.

  3. Select New.

  4. Fill in the Job Posting New record form.

    The Number field is automatically filled with the next job posting number. Here’s a list of some of the important fields needed for job postings. This list of important fields isn’t exhaustive. There are many other fields available. Use the fields that meet your requirements for a job posting.

Job boardAn online platform or website where companies post job openings and job seekers can search for and apply to these positions. Job boards can be internal or external sites.
TitleThe title of the job that applicants see in the internal job posting.
Scheduled start dateThe date the job starts.
CountryThe country location where the job is available.
Location flexibilityThe available types of roles for working, for example- Flexible work environment: An open environment to meet individual needs. - Hybrid work environment: An environment where you can work in more than one location such as in office or from home. - In-office work environment: An environment where you must be in the office for the entire work time.
Posted byThe person who posted the internal job in OPM
Job requisitionThe job requisition number used by OPM for tracking. Job requisitions can have multiple associated job postings.Note: Job requisitions aren’t required for posting a job.
StateAn indication of where the job posting is in the process of managing job postings.
Job qualificationsA list of qualifications that applicants see for the job posting. These qualifications are searchable by applicants.
Posting dateThe date that the job posting is published so that it’s visible to applicants.
Posting descriptionA short description of the job that can be searched so that applicants can find jobs that meet their requirements.
Preferred skillsA list of skills that are preferred but not required. This field is an applicant searchable field.
Required skillsThe minimum skills that are needed for this job. This field is applicant searchable.
Travel requirementAn estimate of the amount of time travel required for this job.
