Update a submitted digital forensic request
Update the request details, add comments, manage custodial and non-custodial data, or upload documents in a digital forensic request you submitted while it is still in the New state. You can cancel a submitted request irrespective of its state.
Before you begin
Role required: sn_lg_ops.legal_user
Procedure
Navigate to All > Employee Center.
Note: If you’re using Legal Service Portal, open a request by navigating to the Legal Service Portal and selecting My Requests > View all requests from the header.
Select My Requests from the header.
Open your submitted digital forensic request from the list.
On the Standard Ticket page, review and edit the request details or cancel the request.

The request is canceled and the cancellation comments appear in the Additional Comments section of the request. |
In the Activity tab, provide comments supporting your request.
Manage documents supporting your request.

A link to the document is listed in the External URL column of the documents list.

- In the Custodial Data tab, view the existing custodians added to the request or export to a file by clicking the more options icon (
More options icon.\).
- In the Non-Custodial Data tab, view the existing non-custodial data added to the request or export to a file by clicking the more options icon (
More options icon.\).
