Configure Legal Invention Disclosure

Install Legal Invention Disclosure and configure the requirements to enable efficient processing and tracking of patent requests.

Configuration overview

1. Install the Legal Invention Disclosure application by installing the Legal Simple Intellectual Property application.
2. Set up outside firms to enable the assignment of outside counsels, who can then be associated with and evaluate Legal Invention Disclosure requests.

3. Set up optional inventor rewards to be granted at three stages of applying for and acquiring a patent.

4. Install Legal Invention Disclosure
   You can install the Legal Invention Disclosure application by installing the Legal Simple Intellectual Property (sn_lg_ip) application if you have the admin role.

5. Set up Outside Firms for Legal Invention Disclosure
   Configure Outside Firm records to enable the assignment of outside counsels to review and process the patent filing of Legal Invention Disclosure requests.
6. Set up Outside Counsels for Legal Invention Disclosure
   Create Outside Counsel records to enable outside counsels to work on a Legal Invention Disclosure request.
7. Enable Outside Counsel to be added to Legal Invention Disclosure matters
   Enable outside counsels to be added to matters related to Legal Invention Disclosure request.
8. Set up optional inventor rewards in Legal Invention Disclosure
   Set up optional rewards for inventors to be granted at three stages of applying for and acquiring a patent.
