Customize an existing legal hold notice template

Customize the legal hold notice template available in the base system to align with your organizational requirements.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_lg_ops.legal_config

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Document Templates > All Document Templates.

2. Search for and select Legal hold notice.

3. If a message appears about the application scope, select here to be able to edit the record.

   A legal hold notice opens in an editable format.

1. Customize the template by substituting your company's name for the placeholder text and adding any additional text you want to include.

   Warning: Do not modify the JavaScript variables marked with ${ } in the legal hold template. Editing these variables might corrupt the template and prevent the legal hold notice from being generated.

2. Select Publish.

Result

A customized legal hold template is created.
