Update a Legal Content Review request

Update request details, add comments, or upload documents in a Legal Content Review request you submitted while it is still in the New or Assigned state.

Before you begin

You can modify a Legal Content Review request only if the request is in the New state.

Role required: sn_lg_ops.legal_user

Procedure

  1. Navigate to All > Employee Center.

    Note: If you're using Legal Service Portal, you can submit a legal request by navigating to the Legal Service Portal and selecting View all requests under My Requests.

  2. Select My Requests from the header.

  3. Open your submitted Legal Content Review request.

    On the Standard Ticket page, review and edit the request details, manage attachments, or cancel the request.

  4. Select Edit Request from the Actions menu.

  5. In the Variables form, modify the request details.

  6. Select Save.

  7. Select Back to return to the Standard Ticket page.

    The request is updated with the new information. The changes appear as comments in the Additional Comments section of the request.

  8. In the Activity tab, provide comments or more information about your request for the request fulfiller.

  9. Manage documents supporting your request.

If the Attachments tab is visible- To upload a new document, select the add attachment icon \(

- To rename an attached file, select the edit file name icon \(

Edit file name icon.\) and update the file name.
- To remove an attached file, select the delete icon \(

If the Documents tab is visible
  • To upload a new document, select Attach and select a file.

A link to the document is listed in the External URL column of the documents list.

  • To remove an attached file, select Delete. In the Delete document dialog box, select a document from the list, and then select Delete.
  1. In the Approvals tab, view the approval details associated with the request.

    Note: The Approvals tab appears only when the Legal Content Review request or its attachment has approval records.
