Journey designer plan configuration owners

Plan configuration owners create and update plan configurations and publish changes.

ServiceNow application administrators assign plan configuration owners. The owners of a plan configuration publish updates for review and approval. The decentralized approach to plan configuration ownership and approval supports a workflow for area experts to customize and maintain plan configurations. These plan configurations are called journey templates in the Employee Center .

• Owner

  Owners are assigned by ServiceNow administrators. A plan configuration owner has expertise related to the plan configuration needs of a logical area.

• Co-owner

  Co-owners are assigned by ServiceNow administrators and have all the responsibilities of an owner.

• Update and publish changes to plan configurations
  Plan owners update plan configurations and publish the changes for review and approval.

• Create and update task templates for plan configurations
  Plan owners create and update task templates that are used in plan configurations.
• Add or update stages in a journey plan configurations
  Owners add or update the stages in journey plan configurations.
