Configure CAD objects using the CAD Editor tab
Edit and manage CAD objects using the CAD Editor tab. Draw polylines or polygons, add text or mtext, edit text, place or block attributes.
The CAD Editor shows a preview of the CAD layers, places, blocks, elements, geometries, and shape. It retains the original style and color of your source CAD file. Add, remove, or update changes to your CAD file in real-time. Resolve issues like unclosed polylines, missing polygons, missing text attributes. Edit block, layer, text, and place type attributes.
Move an element from one layer to another using the Active Layer option. Elements within a CAD file can reside on different layers. After updating the changes to shapes, geometries, and elements in the CAD editor, switch to the Map Configuration to preview your updated changes on the map.
If your CAD file has numerous layers, use Filter layers to search and sort the layers that you want to select. Isolate a layer and work on it independently. Hide or show a layer on the CAD Editor preview.
