Import scope from an existing safety audit

Import scope to copy the audit details, people involved, and objectives (including criteria and items for review) from an existing audit.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_hs_rm.safety_audit_manager or sn_hs_rm.safety_audit_writer

About this task

Importing scope from a previous audit lets you get the new safety audit up and running quickly without re-entering all the scope information.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Workspaces > Health and Safety Workspace.

  2. Select the risk management icon (

  1. In the Audits list, select All and open the audit into which you want to import the scope.

  2. Select Import scope.

  3. In the Previous audit field, search for and select the audit to copy from.

    The current audit is excluded from this list.

  4. Select Import.

Result

The following information is copied from the selected audit to the current audit:

  • All fields on the Details tab.
  • All People involved records, except their associated actions.
  • All Objectives, Criteria, and Items for review, with the relationships between them preserved.

What to do next

After importing, review all copied fields before saving. In particular, update the audit dates, locations, and assigned person as these values typically differ for the new audit period.
