Configure widget heading levels for accessibility

Flexible heading configuration helps with widget accessibility compliance on homepage and topic pages.

Before you begin

Role required: admin.

About this task

Manage widget headings from Heading1 to Heading6 to support company standards, conform with accessibility, and improve usability for the following widgets.

Procedure

  1. On the Employee Center home page, press and hold the control key, right-click one of the following widgets, and then select Instance Options.

    • Topic Header
    • Content Experience
    • Sub Topic
    • Rich Content
    • Quick Links
    • Topic Content The following example shows an instance option for topic page.

You can go to these widget instance options and select the title heading level \(H1, H2, H3, etc.\) directly for flexible and accessible heading structure.
  1. Change the widget level heading from the available options, Heading 1 to Heading 6.

  1. Fill in the following fields as explained in Modify the Support resources widget display

  2. Click Save.

Result

A flexible heading for the widget is configured.
