Preview an email notification

Before sending a publication, authors or administrators can preview the email notifications, reviewing the recipient list, subject information, and publication content.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_publications.author or sn_publications.admin

About this task

Users can preview the following information for an email notification when the Customer Service plugin (com.sn_customerservice) is installed:

• The recipient list
• The subject of the publication
• The text of the publication and any attachments.

Procedure

1. Navigate to one of the following modules:

   • Targeted Communications > Active Publications
   • Targeted Communications > Draft Publications
   • Select the desired publication.

2. Click the Preview Target Email related link.

3. View the email notification in the Notification Preview window.

4. If desired, view the publication on the customer portal by clicking the link in the body of the email.

5. Close the Notification Preview window.

   Once the publication has been published, the customers in the recipient list should receive the email.
