ServiceNow components
ServiceNow components are reusable building blocks that enable you to simplify the process of adding functionality to any website. You can clone components and customize them using a low-code approach.
The following are the prebuilt components that you can configure and embed on your third-party website.

| Case view component | Displays a form that helps you to create a case to address any issues related to products and services. Case view component also includes a process tab that displays relevant playbooks for the case record. |
| Catalog item component | Displays a form that you can fill in to request an item or service. |
| Knowledge article view component | Display knowledge article with key details like title, content, author, view count, and real time. |
| Data visualization component | Display a graphical representation of information from any ServiceNow table using visual elements such as single score, pie chart, donut, and semi donut. |
| Playbook intake component | Enable users to submit cases using Playbook's guided experience. Systematically capture case details and display stages and activities involved in resolving the case. |
| Catalog browse component | Display catalog items from different catalog and categories. |
| Object list component | Display catalog items from different catalogs and categories. |
Custom component
You can create a component or customize the existing components in UI Builder such as adding more properties to make the component configurable. UI Builder enables you to incorporate additional underlying components, and update the component bindings. The prebuilt components are non-customizable and are labeled with Default, however, you can clone them and then customize the cloned version as needed. Once you create a custom component, it’s marked with the label Custom, making it easy to identify.
