CBS requester role enhancements
Assigning the CBS requester role has been simplified with two approaches — automated assignment for all employees and manual setup by an administrator — giving organizations more flexibility across business units.
The CBS requester role controls which employees can access services and submit requests. Two approaches are available for assigning this role, giving organizations the flexibility to choose the method that fits their business unit structure.
The following approaches are available:
- Automated assignment — The CBS requester role is assigned to all employees automatically. No additional configuration is required after the initial setup.
- Manual setup — An administrator defines a role rule using the CBS Client Role Rule form to control which employees receive the requester role based on specific conditions.
Both approaches are configured from the Configuration Console in the Employee Experience section.

- Assign the CBS requester role automatically
Assign the CBS requester role to all employees at once using the automated option. Provide your employees with the access to submit requests and raise queries without manual role assignment for each individual. - Assign the CBS requester role manually
Create a role rule to control which employees receive the CBS requester role, so access is granted based on conditions defined by an administrator.
